Feature Phones

Feature phones offer additional functionalities and often include multimedia applications such as a camera or mp3 players and additional storage space.  They are a midway point between smartphones and basic phones. Some common elements to a feature phone include:

Smartphone

These mobile devices have advanced capabilities and allow users to add applications to their phone. They may have a QWERTY keypad and include 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities. Some of the common features of smartphones include:

  • Music and video players
  • E-mailing
  • Calculators
  • Calendar syncing
