Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation


The Information & Communication Standard focuses on ensuring that all information & communication related to the provision of goods and services is accessible. The definition of information & communication is broad and can include brochures, flyers, feedback forms, telephone calls, e-mails, marketing material, web content and face to face interactions. The goal of these standards is to promote the inclusive design of information & communication platforms across Ontario and to illustrate what measure are required to remove barriers for persons with disabilities when creating, conveying and receiving information and communication.
