Step 1: Choose the Subject

Usually the subject is limited and determined by the curriculum. In this case, the activities you plan relates to the acquisition of knowledge and skills already defined. On other hand, if you have more liberty to choose a subject, then you can get ideas from a variety of sources such as:

  • Experiences of your students
  • An interesting object that you or your students have brought to the classroom
  • An article that has attracted your attention
  • A subject that interests you particularly
  • An event or miscellaneous that has raised the curiosity of your students
  • A popular book from the library
  • The skill and knowledge field of one of your students
  • A usual object that needs to be dealt with from a different and new perspective
